VOCM $10000 News Tip Of The Year Terms and Conditions:
1. VOCM Listeners can submit News tips by calling the station at 709-579-2020, or online at www.vocm.com.
2. News tips may or may not be used on air, at the discretion of VOCM News
3. News tips will be collected through December 31st.
4. After December 31st, VOCM News will convene a jury or committee to judge the News tips received through the year.
5. Tips will be judged on newsworthiness, accuracy and factuality. The jury may add and employ other criteria at its sole discretion.
6. The person who submitted the tip judged to be the best by the jury will receive ten thousand dollars (CAD).
7. Anonymous tips are not eligible for the $10,000 award.
8. Tips that are facetious, not factual, or actionable under slander or libel laws are also not eligible.
9. The decision of the jury is final.
