Lynn grew up in Spaniard's Bay in Conception Bay North. She attended Ascension Collegiate in Bay Roberts and graduated from the College of the North Atlantic with a diploma in Journalism in 2004. She then joined CHVO now KIXX Country in Carbonear as a reporter covering events in Trinity-Conception. She joined the VOCM News team in St. John's in the fall of 2006. In her spare time she can be found spending time with friends and family and supporting the Montreal Canadiens.
