A grand total of 1439 votes were cast in the Windsor Lake byelection during two days of advance polling last week. On the first day, Thursday, 684 votes were cast. Yesterday, another 755 ballots were cast to make up the total. By contrast, in the 2015 general election, just 889 votes were cast in Windsor Lake.
The Byelection itself is set for this Thursday, September 20th. Either PC Leader Ches Crosbie, Liberal Paul Antle or the NDP’s Kerri Claire Neil will replace Cathy Bennett, who resigned earlier this summer.
