Memorial University is playing host next month to the world’s first all-Inuit, all-night festival of art, music, dance, performance and film.
iNuit Blanche will run to coincide with the 20th annual Inuit Studies Conference at MUN October 7th to the 10th.
Inuit artists from across the circumpolar north will gather in St. John’s for the world’s first all Inuit night festival.
Professor Tom Gordon says it’s going to be an exciting time.
He says there are two festivals taking place at the same time, with some 400 researchers and tradition bearers who are coming together in the capital city to discuss Inuit identity and culture.
