  • After the Flood, Freezing Temps and Snow on the Way

There’s a big freeze coming after the thaw.

The warm weather of the last few days has seen rain and flooding across the island with washouts and millions in damage on the west coast, but that’s about to end.

Provincial Airlines and Aerospace meteorologist Brian Walsh says Saturday broke records in St. John’s.

But wintry lows are returning, which is sure to make the west coast cleanup effort difficult after the flooding.

What’s more, Central and the east coast could see up to 20+ cm of snow on Monday and Tuesday.
