Government House Leader Andrew Parsons says he expects the All-Party Committee on Democratic Reform to get rolling early in the new year.
Parsons introduced a motion to create the committee in the spring session, but it wasn’t approved until the fall.
Parsons says the next step is forming the committee and developing a mandate. He says now that the motion has been passed, he expects the structure, membership and mandate of the committee will be established. He expects the work will get underway early in the new year.
He couldn’t say if any changes will be in place prior to the next general election.
