Four men charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with a major investigation into drug trafficking and criminal activity will return to court in April for a preliminary inquiry.
The four accused are 26-year-old Dustin Etheridge, 34-year-old John Squires, 19-year-old Brandon Glasco, and 23-year-old Shane Clarke.
The arrests were made as part of Operation Tarantula, an investigation by the Combined Forces SEU.
On May 16, police arrested and charged Dustin, or “Dusty” Etheridge with conspiracy to commit murder against Bradley John Summers, a known Hells Angels associate.
Following further investigation, Conspiracy charges were also laid against Glasco, Clarke and Squires.
The charge of conspiracy to commit murder will be dealt with separately to the drug charges. As part of Operation Tarantula, Police seized seven kilograms of cocaine, $240,000 in cash, 20 firearms, ammunition and vehicles.
Etheridge, Squires, Glasco and Clarke will be in court from April 1-5, and from April 15-18 for a preliminary hearing.
