Premier Dwight Ball is heading back to the province with a host of new initiatives aimed at growing the Atlantic Canadian economy.
Ball met with federal and provincial ministers in Moncton this week to review the Atlantic Growth Strategy and come up with new actions to grow the province.
Ministers and Premiers plan to lead a trade mission to China in November to look for opportunities to export products and services.
They are also expanding the Nova Scotia Study and Stay pilot program throughout Atlantic Canada, to supply international students with supports to help them find a job in the region once they graduate.
Ball says the new initiatives will lead to greater prosperity for residents across Atlantic Canada.
