Three men from Calgary arrived at Cape Spear yesterday evening after spending the past few months biking across Canada to raise awareness about human trafficking.
Ryan McAuley, Dominic Mayhew and Luke Wahl left Vancouver on June 6.
McAuley says it’s the culmination of a goal that took three years to realise. He says human trafficking happens everywhere, including here at home.
They wanted to equip Canadians with the ways and means of responding to the problem.
He figures they reached some 800 people in their presentations and thousands more in their Facebook posts.
