A company dedicated to making technology-based learning accessible to students is expanding its offerings next year.
Brilliant Labs, a company based out of New Brunswick, helps to fund projects for teachers who integrate technology into the classroom.
Right now, the company is primarily working with elementary schools, but Wylie Butler, a Program Coordinator with Brilliant Labs in this province, says that next year they’re planning to expand their services for Junior High and High School as well.
Butler says making new technologies available to students can open up doors for learning. He says something like a 3D printer is very useful in areas such as math, where students can design things with different dimensions.
