  • Canada Loses in World Curling Final

Niklas Edin made a couple of terrific shots early on and never looked back as Sweden won the World Men’s Curling Championship. The first two ends were blanked, but Sweden scored twice in the third, then stole two in the fourth as the NL skip uncharastically missed what should have been a
    routine double takeout for two.

Trailing 5-0, Gushue could not recover and Sweden won easily 7-3.

Gushue had been trying to repeat as world champion.
