The case against a man charged in connection with the murder of Dale Porter was back in court today.
The Crown filed an application to have a publication ban implemented for two people who are going to be testifying on behalf of the crown in the case against Al Potter, but the ban will cover cases against others who were charged at the same time Potter was arrested.
Potter is among 13 people charged last fall following a two-year investigation and subsequent raids related to the Vikings Motorcycle Club.
Potter and another man, Daniel Leonard are charged with first-degree murder in connection with the 2014 Murder of Dale Porter in North River. Police said at the time that Dale Porter had no affiliation with the Vikings. The others accused in the case are facing drug and organized crime related charges.
