Coordinated Approach is about to ramp up its campaign against the provincial government with a protest rally at Nalcor’s offices early next month.
Coordinated Approach spokesman James Murphy says they want to send a message to both government and Nalcor that they demand more accountability and transparency when it comes to the Muskrat Falls project.
He says they’re protesting the project itself, the concerns raised over methylmercury, and are supporting Paul Lane’s call for a full audit of Nalcor.
Murphy says the protest will take place Friday, October 7 followed by another rally at Confederation Building.
He says the blockade will begin at 8:00 a.m. followed by a rally at Confederation Building at noon.
