The Leader of the Progressive Conservatives is offering an apology following an election night speech to party supporters that was more of an attack than a concession.
The Liberal Party won a minority government, with 20 seats in the legislature, while the PC’s made big gains, resulting in 15 seats.
Some were surprised by the tone of Crosbie’s speech last night.
Crosbie today issued a release apologizing for failing to offer congratulations to Premier Ball.
In the release, Crosbie congratulated Ball and says he looks forward to working with the Liberal Leader to “advance the interest of Newfoundland and Labrador.”
He also offered his thanks to the candidates who put themselves forward for the PC Party and the voters of Windsor Lake and the entire province.
