The NDP has its candidate for next month’s byelection in Bonavista-Burin-Trinity.
Tyler Downey, who works at Memorial University researching icebergs, will represent the New Democrats. He had previously run for the provincial NDP nomination in Mount Pearl North, claimed by Nicole Kieley. His first campaign trip will be to the Burin Peninsula this weekend.
Churence Rogers is representing the Liberals while Mike Windsor is running for the Tories.
Voters go to the polls December 11.
