  • Edge Look to Bounce Back After Game Three Loss

The St. John’s Edge are looking to bounce back after dropping their first game at home in two weeks.

The Edge lost 101-86 to the London Lightning in game three of the second round of National Basketball League of Canada playoff action. London now holds a 2-1 series lead.

St. John’s came out to a hot start, taking a 27-21 lead after the first quarter, but the Lightning crawled back and grabbed a one point lead at the half and never looked back.

Edge forward Carl English had a game-high 25 points and Desmond Lee had a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

The Edge are back in action for game four of the best-of-seven series tomorrow night at Mile One Centre. Tip off is 7:00 p.m.
