The St. John’s Edge are looking to bounce back after dropping their first game at home in two weeks.
The Edge lost 101-86 to the London Lightning in game three of the second round of National Basketball League of Canada playoff action. London now holds a 2-1 series lead.
St. John’s came out to a hot start, taking a 27-21 lead after the first quarter, but the Lightning crawled back and grabbed a one point lead at the half and never looked back.
Edge forward Carl English had a game-high 25 points and Desmond Lee had a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
The Edge are back in action for game four of the best-of-seven series tomorrow night at Mile One Centre. Tip off is 7:00 p.m.
