The provincial election is just three weeks away, and we now have the full list of the 110 candidates running in all 40 districts.
The governing Liberals have a full slate of 40 candidates, while the opposition Tories are just one off with 39. They will not be fielding a candidate in Waterford Valley.
The NDP have 14 candidates in the running. Elections NL says one NDP nomination was rejected due to an incomplete portion of paperwork at the close of nominations.
The newly-formed NL Alliance has nine candidates in its roster, while another nine are running as independent candidates.
Dale Kirby, who was kicked out of the Liberal caucus, is not running this time after sitting as an independent for the past year. The other person who was kicked out of the Liberal caucus, Eddie Joyce, is being challenged in Humber-Bay of Islands by representatives from the Liberals, NDP and PCs.
Voting day is May 16.
