A couple of events are set for this weekend to promote healthcare innovation in the province.
BOUNCE Health Innovation is hosting an event for students at Exploits Valley Highschool in Grand Falls-Windsor today. Tomorrow, they’re hosting the first Hacking Health Western NL Café at the Arts & Science Atrium at MUN’s Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook.
Mandy Woodland, the Entrepreneur in Residence for BOUNCE spoke with VOCM Open Line host Paddy Daly about today’s event in Grand Falls-Windsor. She says they are going to run a mini-hackathon, and students will participate in several health and innovation workshops.
Woodland says the Hacking Health Cafe event on Sunday will be quite different from today’s events. She says everyone is welcome, and that these are structured, monthly events where people discuss current issues in the industry and ways to solve them.
