  • Federation of Labour Hails Presumptive PTSD Coverage as a Win for Workers

The province’s Federation of Labour is calling the legislative changes that will allow presumptive mental health coverage for work-related PTSD a “big victory” for workers.

Mary Shortall says the legislation will mean expedited access to the support and treatment workers need as a result of work-related trauma.

She says the fact that the legislation is supported by a diverse range of unions, associations, organizations and mental health advocates speaks to its importance.
