The funeral mass will take place this morning for the 19-year-old woman who died in a car crash in Cowan Heights one week ago.
Alyssa Power was the passenger in a vehicle that collided with another at the intersection of Hamlyn Road and Canada Drive last Friday night.
The 17-year-old female driver appeared in court this week and was charged with a list of offences including dangerous driving causing death and flight from police causing death.
The Nova Scotia Serious Incident Response Team is looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The funeral mass will take place this morning at 10:00 at the Roman Catholic Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
