The provincial government is launching a questionnaire aimed at improving mental health services for young people.
Government is looking for ideas from people between the ages of 12 and 25 on what it can do to improve services for mental health and addictions. Health Minister John Haggie says their mental health and addictions action plan is working with wait times being drastically reduced and, in some cases, eliminated altogether.
The questionnaire will form the basis of a new integrated services model for youth and young adults.
Shealah Hart, who grew up in Northern Arm in central Newfoundland, says the use of social media creates its own set of issues.
The deadline for submissions is November 15. You can find the questionnaire here.
