Want to be a Merb’y, or at least have a MerTail?
The Quidi Vidi Village Plantation is hosting a MerTail making event every Wednesday during the month of March.
The event is called MerTail Sewing Bees, and will walk those interested through the step-by-step process of sewing their own tail.
Mermaid tails have been in high demand recently, after the MerB’ys calendar popularity, and plans by organizer Hasan Hai for a mermaid World Record attempt later this year.
Participants will need to bring their own material, thread and a sewing machine – if you have one.
You can sign up through Facebook or contact the Quidi Vidi Village Plantation.
