Grand Falls-Windsor has announced the full five-day schedule for this year’s Grand Toyota Exploits Valley Salmon Festival.
This year’s festival kicks off Thursday, July 13 and runs to Grand Falls-Windsor Day on the 17. This year’s concert at Centennial Field features headliners Loverboy and April Wine.
Mayor Barry Manuel says the annual Salmon Dinner and Tribute Nights are both becoming very popular, too. This year’s special guest for the Salmon Dinner on Thursday is Grand Falls-Windsor native Gordon Pinsent.
He says the Cataracts Hockey Team will also be in attendance, and a five-course meal prepared by some of the province’s top chefs.
Manuel says the full schedule of events and ticket pricing is available online at http://www.evsalmonfestival.com.
He says not only is it a fun week – it’s a great economic boost for the area.
