The Growlers won the first game of the Kelly Cup Finals 4-3 in an exciting nail-biter against Toledo Saturday night at Mile One.
To say the atmosphere for the championship opener at Mile One Centre was electric, would be an understatement.
St. John’s native Zach O’Brien kicked things off with the first goal of the game at the 16:20 mark of the first period, to thunderous applause.
