Newfoundland and Labrador Paralympic swimming champion Katarina Roxon is shredding the competition on the other side of the globe.

The Kippens native captured gold in the women’s 100m Breast Stroke at the 2018 Pan Pacific Para-Swimming Championships in Australia today.

The 24-year-old Order of Newfoundland and Labrador recipient won her first Paralympic gold medal at the Rio games back in 2016.

Roxon will be back in the water tomorrow to race 100m Freestyle, and on Saturday for the 200m Individual Medley.
