Provincial and municipal government officials were on hand to help Capital Hyundai break ground at the future site its new dealership—the company’s largest in the country.
When complete in 2020, it will be the largest Hyundai dealership in Canada coming in at 68,000 square feet. The new facility is projected to double the local workforce to roughly 150 employees with retail sales expected to move some 2000 new and used vehicles per year.

President and CEO of Capital Hyundai Frank Howard was joined several members of government for the official groundbreaking ceremony on that took place on Kenmount Road this afternoon.
He says he is eager to get going on the exciting large scale project.
Howard says the design plans are all done and the next stage is to put it to tender and hopefully find someone who can build it at a reasonable price and on time.
