This time it’s Labrador’s turn to bear the brunt of a snowy winter.
Parts of Labrador, including the Upper Lake Melville area, are in for about 15-20 cm today. Compounding things that are high winds, making for blizzard conditions.
It’s snowing in Labrador West as well but amounts are much less.
The Avalon Peninsula got over 60 cm of snow from back-to-back storms this week, but PAL Airlines and Aerospace meteorologist Brian Walsh says that should be about it for the next week or so. He doesn’t expect to see any significant amounts of precipitation or bitterly cold temperatures.
