There are several power outages reported in the Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro coverage area.
South Brook, Pilley’s Island, Springdale Junction and Robert’s Arm are all affected, and the outage is being investigated.
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro says parts of Rocky Harbour were also affected after some equipment damage last night. Winds have now died down, and power is expected to have been returned to the area.

There was also a landslide in Woody Point this morning, leading to a power outage. NL Hydro confirms the crew was able to get the power back, but advises the area is dangerous right now. Transportation and Works is in the area.
