The government authority investigating two MHA’s after allegations of harassment expects more complaints to come forward.
The Commissioner for Legislative Standards, Bruce Chaulk, was at last night’s Management Commission meeting at the House of Assembly to answer questions from members on how he reviews and manages complaints made by MHA’s.
Chaulk answered, but also mentioned that he expects more complaints to be made.
Dale Kirby and Eddie Joyce are now sitting as Independents after being suspended from caucus. They are being paid their MHA’s salaries.
The Management Commission did not come up with a defined policy on harassment. Government House Leader Andrew Parsons wants to see a system whereby anyone who has an allegation will feel comfortable in bringing it forward.
