  • Most Visible Minorities Face Discrimination in NL: CRA Poll

    Racial discrimination is still a common thing in the province acoording to the latest survey from Corporate Research Associates.

    The latest CRA poll shows that one in eight people have experienced racial discrimination in their lifetime, and one in ten has experienced it in the last five years.

    Poll results also show that it’s people 35 and younger that have most likely experienced racism in the past five years.

    The CEO of the company, Don Mills, says while the numbers appear low, the fact is the number of visible minorities in the province is also low, meaning most, if not all, visible minorities have faced discrimination while here.
