  • Name a Police Puppy for the RCMP

It’s that time of year again, when the RCMP turns to the public to help name their latest brood of police service dog puppies.

Canadian children are being asked to submit names for 13 German shepherd puppies that will be born at the RCMP Police Dog Service Training Centre in Innisfail, Alberta throughout 2018.

Winning names must be original and imaginative and serve the puppies well during their careers as police dogs.

This year’s names must begin with the letter L and have no more than two syllables and nine letters.

Contestants must live in Canada and be 14 years or younger.

Entries must be sent no later than February 28, 2018.
