  • NAPE Ready for Tough Bargaining, But Realistic About Province’s Finances

The province’s largest public sector union says while it’s realistic about the province’s fiscal situation, it won’t be willing to settle for less when collective bargaining ramps up in the coming year.

NAPE President Jerry Earle says they’re heading to the bargaining table on behalf of some 12- to 14,000 NAPE members.

He says they well understand the province’s serious fiscal situation and are not unrealistic, but they won’t settle for less, especially given the increase in the cost of living.
