There are some new programs being offered this year at one of the most popular attractions in the capital city area.
Signal Hill is offering a series of programs for visitors this year and has added some new ones according to Parks Canada’s Bill Brake.
He says they’re going to continue with the rum tasting programs, the noon day gun and the popular Signal Hill Tattoo.
Brake says this year they’re adding a new program in partnership with Quidi Vidi Brewery called “Ales and Tales” that involves a guided tour, hike to Quidi Vidi Brewery, a meal and a sampling of the brewery’s products.
He says Parks Canada is always looking for new and innovative ways to connect Canadians with their natural and cultural heritage.
