The Newfoundland Chocolate Company has launched a new truffle to raise money for the Autism Society.
The Pad Thai Truffle was invented by Brian Bradley of the Hits FM Morning Show, part of the Steele Communications network.
Brent Smith of the Newfoundland Chocolate Company says they wanted to mark their 10th anniversary in style.
The truffle includes peanut butter, peanuts, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, lime zest and chili. It was launched today and a dollar from the sale of every truffle will go to the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Scott Crocker of the Autism Society says every little bit of support is appreciated.
He says groups like the Autism Society are always challenged financially so support like that from Brent and Christine of the Newfoundland Chocolate Company helps.
