Drama Society and the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre are getting ready to produce seven plays in seven nights.
The 70th anniversary of the Newfoundland and Labrador Drama Festival is taking place from April 21-27.
This province is the last to host a province-wide festival in the country – involving all the major city centres and Labrador.
This year’s theme and title, “We Dies for a Bitta Drama,” was brought to life by Dennis O’Keefe who has taken over as Chair of the festival.
The theme captures and showcases the artisitic talent and cultural experience in Newfoundland and Labrador.
