Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro will go to trial in Grand Falls-Windsor this fall for allegedly unlawfully disposing of diesel.
The company is facing two counts under the Fisheries Act for allegedly dumping diesel in or near a water way. It’s said to have happened between July 27 and July 30 in 2014.
Hydro has pled not guilty to the charges.
The matter was brought before the judge this morning, and a seven-day trial has been set to begin October 26.
