A pair of unruly customers kept police in St. John’s busy early this morning in unrelated incidents.
First, police were called to an establishment in the east end of the city around 2:30 a.m. As the result of a short investigation, a 35-year-old woman has been charged with resisting arrest, three counts of assaulting a police officer and property damage.
Then, about an hour later, police were called to an establishment in the downtown area. There, a 41-year-old man was arrested for uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
Both the man and the woman were held to make court appearances in the morning.
