Holyrood RCMP stopped a vehicle on the old Conception Bay Highway in Holyrood this morning driving 115 km/h in a 50 km zone.
To make matters worse, police say the narrow road was lined with children waiting for the school bus.
We just stopped vehicle doing 115 in a 50 zone near kids waiting for bus. Charges laid will remove license upon conviction. Seriously!?

Staff Sergeant Boyd Merrill says charges have been laid—and if convicted, the accused will lose his licence.
Merrill says driving at such speeds shows a disrespect for the laws of the road and for the safety of others.
