Police have ruled a fire at a commercial property in Grand Falls-Windsor overnight was arson.
The fire caused significant damage to Norseman Window and Siding, a business on Toulette Drive in the town. RCMP in central say the building ended up with heavy smoke and water damage.
On his Twitter feed, Grand Falls-Windsor Fire Chief Vince MacKenzie noted the fire extended into the attic of the building, but crews were able to get it under control quickly.

An investigation by the RCMP Fire Investigator and the Office of the Fire Commissioner has confirmed the fire was arson.
The investigation is ongoing.
