The RNC is asking for public assistance in identifying the man responsible for an armed robbery at a convenience store in the east end of St. John’s.
At around 10:00 last night, police responded to an armed robbery at Breen’s Convenience on Logy Bay Road.
A man entered the store armed with a weapon and demanded cash. The suspect left before police arrived on scene with an amount of cash. The were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male with a thin build and approximately 5’9″ with facial hair.
The RNC Criminal Investigation Division is continuing to investigate this armed robbery and anyone with information is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Meanwhile, police were also called to an armed robbery just after 9:00 p.m. at the Fall River Plaza on Torbay Road, a short distance away from the second robbery at Breen’s Deli. There is currently no confirmation if the two incidents were connected.
