The Premier is assuring that a solution is being sought to help a hundred or so Astaldi workers who have been left in limbo since Nalcor removed the contractor from the Muskrat Falls site.
Ed Knox told VOCM News earlier this week that he and a group of other middle managers have yet to be paid and unlike the unionized workers at the site, they have no one to fight on their behalf.
The matter was raised in the House of Assembly this afternoon by Opposition House Leader Keith Hutchings.
Premier Dwight Ball says he’s spoken to some of the workers affected and has spoken with Nalcor CEO Stan Marshall. He says they’re working towards a solution for those workers.
