A St. John’s man has vowed to demonstrate outside Nalcor offices in St. John’s during business hours until his concerns regarding the Muskrat Falls project are addressed.
Matthew Della Valle has spent four days on the lawn of the building holding signs that express his dissatisfaction with the mega-project. He says a few people have shown up to join him, but he reports getting a much better response from the online community.
Della Valle has several demands for government and Nalcor, including an in-depth audit of the Crown corporation, the repatriation of artifacts uncovered during Muskrat Falls construction, and accountability for the recent Mud Lake flooding.
He says he will be back, in front of the company Monday morning to continue what he is calling a vigil. Della Valle says he will continue to protest during business hours until his concerns are met.
