  • Province Preparing for Upcoming Visit by US Commerce Officials

    The provincial government is scheduling meetings to go over the impact of US trade tariffs being imposed on Kruger.

    The company, which operates Corner Brook Pulp and Paper is being slapped with US tariffs of nearly 10 percent, and the provincial government is about to finalize its analysis of the information that’s been provided to them according to Premier Dwight Ball.

    He says they’re setting up some scheduled meetings in preparation for a site visit by US Department of Commerce officials in March.
