A Natuashish man has been arrested and charged after an incident involving a firearm this past weekend.
RCMP responded to a call on March 18 that a man had discharged a firearm while walking in the community. Police found the man at his home, where he was agitated and uncooperative. Pepper spray was used to take the man into custody.
Twenty-year-old Jevaron Gregoire has been charged with careless use of a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault of a peace officer and breach of the community’s alcohol bylaw.
There were no injuries. The investigation continues.
