Several drivers are walking today after their vehicles were impounded last night in the capital city.
The first incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. last evening in the centre city area. A 29 year old woman was ticketed for driving with an expired license, no insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle.
The second incident happened around 8 p.m. in the west end as police conducted a traffic safety stop. They pulled the 27 year old man over and gave him a ticket for driving while suspended. A subsequent investigation showed the man owes more than $9,000 dollars in unpaid fines.
And around 11 p.m. in the centre of the city, a 30 year old man was booked for having no driver’s license, no insurance and failure to transfer ownership.
All three of the drivers had their vehicles seized.
