  • School Basketball Court Revitalized Through Edge Support

The basketball court outside of St. John Bosco School in Shea Heights is sporting some new colours.

The St. John’s Edge and the Edge foundation together revitalized the courts outside of the school with freshly painted backboards and court lines.

St. John Bosco has a rich tradition of basketball players and Principal Linda Hart says with the upgrades, the kids can continue to do what they do best.

Along with the court upgrades, the Edge also donated number of Edge branded basketballs as well as free tickets for every student in the school for the teams season opener at the Mile One.

Edge star Carl English was on hand and even played some one-on-one with a couple of students.

Principal Hart says the revitalization project is win for both the school and the community, as it so widely used by everyone in Shea Heights.
