The Newfoundland and Labrador Snowmobile Federation is reminding riders it’s time to pick up this season’s trail pass.
Tony Sheppard, President of the NLSF, says the fees from the passes help groom 3,300 kms of trail across the island, and operate 17 clubs.
Early bird prices are on until next month, and are available online.
Sheppard says last year the federation sold over 14,000 passes, the most they have ever sold in a season.
Although it wasn’t a great season last year, he says the west coast had a pretty good season, and riders from elsewhere on the island took advantage by heading there. Sheppard is hoping that uptake carries over to this year.
