The St. John’s Edge are home for the rest of January as they continue their drive to the top of the National Basketball League of Canada. After a slow start, the Edge have turned things around, winning all four games in the new year.
Associate head coach Steve Marcus says playing in front of big crowds at Mile one is something talked about even by opposing teams.
He says his players love playing at Mile One in front of 4,500 or 5,000 fans and that it’s the best environment in the league hands down.
The Edge host defending champ London Lightning Saturday night and Sunday afternoon while the Halifax Hurricanes will be in town January 29 and 31.
