It’s official — Steele Mazda is open for business, and the occasion was marked with celebration.
Steele Auto Group held the grand opening Wednesday afternoon, with a ribbon cutting and live music at one of its newest locations at 220 Kenmount Road.
It’s just one of the latest acquisitions by Nova Scotia-based Steele Auto Group, which has recently increased its presence in this province by purchasing a large number of well-established vehicle dealerships.
As of January this year, Steele Auto Group purchased the Penney Group of dealerships, including City Honda, Gander Kia, Gander Hyundai, Gander Toyota, Simmons Honda, Penney Hydunai, Mercedes-Benz St. John’s, as well as Steele Mazda—formerly Penney Mazda.
As of March, they added Tucker Acura to that roster.
Rob Steele, owner of Steele Auto Group, was in town to mark the grand opening today as a part of different celebrations across the province. Rob Steele is the brother of John Steele, the CEO of Steele Communications.
