Members of the United Steelworkers Union could be abandoning the picket line after successful discussions.
The United Steelworkers Union have reached a tentative agreement with the Iron Ore Company of Canada for employees at its Labrador City and Sept-Îles, Quebec, operations.
Hundreds of workers went on strike in late March to back demands for a new contract.
IOC believes the tentative agreement is fair and equitable for all parties.
The proposed agreement is expected to be presented by the USW to its members in the coming week.
